### How Do Young People Envision Europe's Future?
Studium Generale on October 28, 2026
Climate change, social polarization, economic uncertainty, and digital transformation are shaping the lives of young people. But how do young people in Europe envision their future? What values and ideas do they associate with a society worth living in—and what role do they themselves want to play in shaping this change?
Dr. Simon Morris-Lange, Head of Research at the Allianz Foundation in Berlin, addresses these questions in his lecture “How Young People Are Rethinking Europe’s Future—Between Crisis, Hope, and Social Change.”
As part of the Studium Generale series, he will present research findings on young people’s visions for the future in Europe and highlight the importance of education, civic engagement, and innovation for a sustainable and democratic future. A comparative look at (East) Germany and Poland will also reveal existing differences.
