In the second volume of her Ahrenshoop memoirs, Ingrid Schreyer describes how she and her citizens' initiative "Schießplatz a.D." drove the Bundeswehr out of the newly founded National Park of Vorpommersche Boddenlandschaft from 1990 onwards. She reports on her trip to Bonn in 1991 to visit the Federal Ministry of Defense and her protest actions and demonstrations in front of the Zingst barracks, as well as her TV debate with officers of the Bundeswehr.
