The three-day city festival invites you to dance, sing, and have a good time. On the festival stage, performers will offer a varied program for guests of all ages.
Since 1995, Gadebusch has traditionally celebrated the Münzfest on the first weekend in July. During these three-day festivities, people dance, sing, and enjoy good food together. On the large festival stage in the market square in front of City Hall, a variety of artists offer a diverse program for guests of all ages. With bumper cars, children’s carousels, and a lively, colorful market atmosphere, there’s something for everyone. On Friday evening, the popular fireworks display also delights visitors. A highlight of the festival weekend will be the grand parade on July 4, 2026, which will wind its way through the city starting at 1:30 p.m. with dozens of decorated floats, clubs, and music and dance groups.
