"Full Speed Ahead – Energy at Sea" hands-on activity for children ages 8 and up.
What actually happens in a ship’s engine room? After a short guided tour, we’ll explore together what forces are at work there and how an engine works. Through exciting experiments related to energy, we’ll test, explore, and marvel—and, of course, at the end, we’ll get to set something in motion in the Miniport.
