Fruit tree pruning course for anyone aged 12 and over who is interested in learning how to prune fruit trees and how to care for them professionally.
Introductory course, no previous knowledge required
Course schedule:
Basic knowledge of pruning fruit trees and initial pruning practice
Course objectives:
The aim of the introductory fruit tree pruning course is to impart basic knowledge about pruning young and old fruit trees. Course participants learn how to care for trees so that they have a harmonious crown structure. The crown should allow the tree to be easily worked on from four sides with a ladder and bear high-quality fruit without supports. The motto here is to achieve as much as possible with as little effort as possible. The introductory fruit tree pruning course teaches theoretical knowledge (background knowledge, growth laws, guidelines for pruning fruit trees) - but the focus is on the practical application of theory. Participants learn how to prune young trees and everything to do with the careful care of old trees under professional guidance. It is very important that participants learn to "read" each tree and thus apply the knowledge they have learned safely at home.
Catering:
A small snack is included for lunch (please bring a packed lunch and drinks)
