Fruit Tree Pruning Course for anyone interested in learning about fruit tree pruning and wanting to care for trees properly. This is an introductory course focusing on mature fruit trees.
Course Objectives
The goal of the introductory course on fruit tree pruning is to provide basic knowledge about pruning mature fruit trees. Course participants will learn how to care for trees so that they develop a harmonious crown structure. The crown should allow the tree to be pruned easily from all four sides using a ladder and to bear high-quality fruit without the need for supports. The motto here is to achieve as much as possible with as little effort as possible. The introductory course on fruit tree pruning covers theoretical knowledge (background information, growth principles, and guidelines for fruit tree pruning)—but the focus is on the practical application of this theory. Here, participants learn pruning techniques and everything related to the gentle care of mature trees under professional guidance. Great emphasis is placed on helping participants learn to “read” each tree so they can confidently apply what they’ve learned at home.
