- Opening KRANICHWELTEN & KRANORAMA
From March 1st, the NABU Experience Center KRANICHWELTEN will be open again for its guests daily from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Our modern and interactive exhibition invites young and old to discover the world of cranes in an exciting and varied way. Immerse yourself in multimedia adventure areas and experience exciting virtual journeys through crane landscapes, moors and the world of insects. You can also experience a "bath under the sound shower" with the crane duet calls of all 15 species worldwide or learn more about our exciting projects in Europe, Africa or Asia.
In the spacious 20,000 m² outdoor area, you can experience different habitats up close, including a true-to-nature fen with typical vegetation and wildlife.
After a tour of our adventure world, our cozy bistro invites you to linger and enjoy - with a view of nature. Delicious variety for explorers - sweet & savory. Numerous delicacies, from tarte flambée and pizza to various cakes, await you with the most beautiful view!
"Experience cranes live": Our modern observation platform, the KRANORAMA, can be visited from March 6. We look forward to your visit and unforgettable encounters with the cranes in the adjacent Günzer See nature paradise!

If you would like to find out more about the "Dancers of the North", we invite you to visit the KRANICHWELTEN again on 24.03.26 at 19:00. Here, Karsten Peter, a long-time employee of our hotel, would like to follow in the footsteps of the crane with his guests in his musically framed picture show. He will guide you through the year of the cranes with impressive pictures. He likes to interrupt his explanations to take his audience into the world of myths and stories.
