From the Fisherman and His Wife
Fairy Tales—Freely Adapted from Jacob & Wilhelm Grimm
The well-known fairy tales of the Brothers Grimm are brought to life in refreshing, original adaptations by the Parktheater Edelbruch . They encourage audiences to make their own dreams come true and to embrace life’s challenges. With lighthearted rhymes, paired with elements of improvisational theater and puppetry, this fairy-tale material entertains children and adults alike and invites the audience to watch and join in.
“What a load of crap,” thinks the fisherman. He loves his wife, but he also values his peace and quiet. If only Ilse wouldn’t complain so much all the time. But what’s that? A huge fish is thrashing on his fishing line and claims to be an enchanted prince. Well, if that doesn’t give his Ilse any silly ideas again.
