a special exhibition with three changing artists in the Müritzeum
Nature can be documented in many different ways. For example, it can be captured timelessly with a pen and brush, in a photograph or as a specimen. The idea for the special exhibition was born in order to show the connection between nature and art and the many ways in which they can be represented.
It combines various facets of art and nature with the works of one artist and two artists, which will change throughout the exhibition period, as well as the permanent exhibits from the Müritzeum's natural history collections (26.03.-29.11.2026).
"As if art were not also nature and nature art!"
Christian Morgenstern (1871-1914)
