Gourmets beware: This summer, star chef Kai - normally the master of the fine pots and pans at the hotel "Zur weißen Muschel" - ends up behind the counter of a chip shop of all places.
Instead of lobster and truffles, it's ketchup, currywurst and lots of chaos. The small chip shop quickly becomes the hottest meeting place in town.
Bottle collectors and gourmets, vacationers and veterans, dreamers and gossips - each with their own story.
And in the middle of it all is Kai, who tries to keep the chips crispy and life halfway under control.
