A Photographic Interpretation of a Seemingly Everyday Concept
With an extraordinary themed exhibition, the MV-Foto association invites art and photography enthusiasts on an exciting journey of discovery. Under the title “Spiegelei,” twelve photographers from Schwerin and the surrounding area are showcasing their work in the association’s gallery, demonstrating just how diversely a seemingly everyday term can be interpreted.
The participating artists are: Martin Ahlert, Olaf Bellmann, Anke Berger, Rainer Dahlmeier, Thomas Dürr, Peter Häfner, Raoul Hinze, Ullrich Houschka, Stanislaw Lifson, Klaus-Peter Schmidt, Maria Schöne, and Maria Schütt.
The resulting works oscillate between documentary observation, artistic staging, and experimental visual composition. Thus, a simple play on words becomes a multifaceted photographic exploration of perception, everyday life, and creativity.
