Creative macramé workshop in the Göhren local history museum with inspiration from memories, exhibitions and nature. Together we collect beach finds, learn simple knotting techniques and design a personalized wall hanging. A creative afternoon for Women's Day.
The "Memory Knots - Knotting Workshop" combines memories, creative design and shared experiences. The meeting point is the Göhren Museum of Local History, where participants receive an introduction to the topic of memory after a brief welcome.
In the exhibition "Sun, Beach and Socialism", pictures, objects and stories of past vacation times serve as creative stimuli. Afterwards, a walk together through Göhren leads to the beach, where natural materials such as shells, driftwood and chicken gods are collected. You are welcome to bring your own materials from home.
Back at the museum, the finds are prepared. In a relaxed atmosphere, the participants learn several simple macramé knots, try them out and combine them with each other. Each participant then designs an individual wall hanging - freely, intuitively and according to her own ideas.
A creative afternoon for Women's Day that combines memories, crafts, exchange and the joy of designing together.
