What was everyday school life like on Mönchgut a hundred years ago? What was taught and how did people live? Go on a journey through time and visit our original school building including the teacher's apartment from around 1825.
The historical school lesson takes place in a faithfully furnished classroom of a village school and provides a vivid insight into everyday school life in times gone by. In an authentic setting, topics from local history, regional history, (Low) German and biology, which are closely linked to rural life, are addressed.
The lessons are based on former teaching methods and illustrate the content that was once taught and the importance of school in the everyday life of the village community. The event combines knowledge transfer with regional cultural history and makes historical contexts tangible in a vivid way.
Participants must register by 10.03. by telephone or e-mail.
