Experimental workshop weekend: Artist talk, nude drawing on the beach & realization in linocut and woodcut.
The workshop weekend starts on Friday evening with an artist talk with Luke Carter at SPEICHER_Haus für Druckkunst.
Participation is open to all interested parties, and
on Saturday there will be an excursion to the beach. There, nude drawings of each other will be created - all participants decide for themselves how much they want to show. Bathing, observing and exchanging ideas about physicality and perception are just as much a part of the workshop as drawing, and
on Sunday the resulting drawings will be translated into prints. Linocuts and woodcuts will be created in the workshop, experimenting with surfaces, lines and body shapes.
