Year after year, the brewery heiresses Charlotte, Cäcilie, and Clementine spend the summer at their country house in the Mark along with their servant Rudolf. For years, Rudolf has been at the sisters’ service. He has also spent tender moments with each of them—naturally, without the others’ knowledge. All three have promised to include him in their wills. However, when Rudolf asks for an advance payment, none of the sisters wants to hear any more about it. This prompts him to threaten to reveal his secret. Not a good idea! Charlotte, Cäcilie, and Clementine bring arsenic and other deadly substances into play…
