First major exhibition of the year: "Of dangers and companions"
Kunst-Wasser-Werk e.V. is presenting the first major exhibition of 2026 with three internationally renowned artists: "Of Dangers and Companions": Theresa Rothe (*1990 in Dresden), Leni Pohl (*1993 in Crivitz) and Sophia Eisenhut (*1995 in Regensburg). Their works combine sculpture, installation, drawing, performance and language to create a multi-layered exploration of the body, power and feminist narratives.
Theresa Rothe's works oscillate between sculpture, painting and performance. She questions everyday curiosities, animal observations and the voyeuristic gaze - always in dialog with the material and her own body.
Leni Pohl explores the boundaries of perception and knowledge in drawing, text and audio. Her works address the self, the other and the mechanisms of power that shape relationships and intersections.
Sophia Eisenhut explores the performance of writing and language in the context of feminist thought. Her installations and performances cross the boundary between theory and fiction and consider the historical as a site of the utopian.
