Is that real hair?
I’ve long since gotten used to this question. Yes, it is. Just as tousled and authentic as my lyrics. The songs, mostly performed in the first person, are complemented by short anecdotes. They’re memories, observations, and wordplay—and sometimes the audience gets involved, too. Everyday life is explored—in a refreshingly different way—my way.
Humor and depth
Do they go together? As a sound engineer, I spent many years helping other artists from various genres be heard: vocalists, cabaret performers, journalists, guitarists, comedians, mountaineers, carnival performers… Now I’m on stage myself with my own songs. I bring along my guitar, harmonica, and plenty of stories set to music—some racy, some sinful.
