Fast-paced racing action at the 2026 FIM Flat Track World Championship
The third round of the 2026 FIM Flat Track World Championship, originally scheduled to be held in Haunstetten, Germany on June 27, will now take place in Teterow on the same day.
While this is the first time the championship has visited the Bergring Arena, the highly regarded track in north-east Germany has a proven pedigree of hosting top events and has hosted a round of the FIM Speedway Grand Prix World Championship as recently as 2023.
Armando Castagna, Director of the FIM Track Racing Commission, said: "Teterow is a venue with a strong tradition in track racing, having hosted several world championship events over the years. I am sure that the enthusiastic local team will prepare an excellent setting for the FIM Flat Track World Championship."
For 2026, the FIM Flat Track World Championship has been extended to ten rounds - its longest duration since the series was first run as the FIM Flat Track Cup in 2011 - and will travel outside Europe for the first time in its history when the final two rounds are held in Argentina on the weekend of October 24-25.
