In collaboration with the Blendwerk e.V. Stralsund Film Club, the Golden Bear-winning political drama will be screened as part of the exhibition “DAMALS HEUTE HIER – Women in the Resistance Against National Socialism.”
The film vividly illustrates how an authoritarian state can destroy critical thinkers, both professionally and personally. It shows what happens when undemocratic forces gain power over people, thereby demonstrating just how relevant the exhibition is here and now.
