Film school
Together with Berlin filmmaker Oguzhan Baran, who will be offering film and animation courses for children and young people again this summer vacation, we will be running a special course for adults in the summer semester. In four blocks - each from Friday evening to Saturday afternoon - Mr. Baran will pass on his knowledge in his special field - essay film. This course is aimed at anyone, even those without film experience, who would like to develop a short essay film from their own images. The focus is not on cameras, technique or perfection, but on the question of how images can think: how close observation, writing and simple editing can transform personal material into a clearly structured reflection. At the end of the course, everyone will have completed their own essay film and will take away a comprehensible method that can be used at home.
