Artist collective ad hoc in June in the inner courtyard of the Conservatory

On 26 June 2026, the inner courtyard of the conservatory will be transformed into a lively space of sound and movement as part of the KON-Takte series: the Schwerin artists' collective ad hoc will present the program "transFORMation", an improvised music and dance performance that is created in the moment - without a score, without choreography, without fixed guidelines. Music and movement develop spontaneously from the interaction between the artists, reacting to each other, constantly forming and changing. Sound becomes visible, movement audible. Bathed in atmospheric light, the courtyard itself becomes a stage. The many corners, niches and passageways are used by the artists and transformed into a collage of sound, movement, space and time.

Artists from Schwerin, Berlin and Amsterdam will come together for this evening: Marie-Laure Fiaux, Manuela Tessi, Claudia Senoner (dance), Rieko Okuda (piano, epiano, synthesizer), Johannes Richter (drums, electronics), Friedrich Bassarak (accordion, accordina), Friederike Wendorf (transverse flute, alto and bass transverse flute).

The pianist Rieko Okuda, the dancer Manuela Tessi and the flutist Friederike Wendorf have been working together artistically for over ten years. Together with the members of the ad hoc collective, which has been developing improvised performances in changing line-ups for four years, they have created a large ensemble.

The evening's instrumentation is particularly sonorous and unusual. Accordionist Friedrich Bassarak and percussionist Johannes Richter complement the Wendorf - Okuda duo perfectly. Together with the three dancers, a large ensemble makes the courtyard resound and sets it in motion.

Friederike Wendorf and Marie-Laure Fiaux founded the artist collective ad hoc 2023 in Schwerin. In their projects, they explore spontaneous interplay, immediate reactions in the moment and the art of improvising together without notes or fixed structures.

This "transFORMation" invites the audience to experience perception in a new way - as an open process between sound, body and space.

The "Kreislaufhelden" team will provide suitable culinary accompaniment before and during the event. Admission to the event costs 12 euros, concessions 8 euros. Tickets can be purchased at the Kulturforum Schleswig-Holstein-Haus from Tue-Sun 11am-6pm. Reservations are not possible.

Remaining tickets can be purchased at the box office.
