Two masters of European jazz

The German pianist and the French soprano saxophonist are undoubtedly regarded as style-defining representatives of their respective fields - in jazz and far beyond its borders. They both draw on the most diverse musical influences from jazz on both sides of the Atlantic, classical music, pop, new music, avant-garde and mainstream and know how to adapt to their counterparts with the utmost sensitivity. In a very close exchange, they succeed in creating unheard music time and again.
