Gypsy Jazz
Jazz Manouche at the MV Festival! The young guitarist Elias Prinz, together with the rhythm guitarist Jean-Baptiste Delattre from Paris and the Munich double bassist Ida Valentina Koch, will perform a concert program with original compositions, newly interpreted classics of jazz literature and selected pieces by Django Reinhardt in fresh arrangements. In the typical line-up without drums, they celebrate European jazz as it emerged under the hands of the legendary Sinti musicians in Paris in the 1930s.
