On Gabon’s remote coast, the endless rainforest meets the wild Atlantic Ocean. Here, elephants wander all the way to the sea, brush-eared pigs plow through the beach, and hippos surf the surf. A place where jungle animals find food, shelter, and healing, and where night has been bringing forth new life for millennia. But plastic, carried by distant currents, threatens this ancient balance.
