Darß Nature Film Festival 2026, “Competition” Section
This film tells a story about the sea otters on California's coast that has been largely unknown until now. They are familiar to us as laid-back marine creatures, skilled underwater hunters, and—in the case of the females—loving mothers. But few people realize that these animals have also become the last hope for a unique habitat and, as a result, are even making an important contribution to climate protection.
