Can a single person protect nature and help us rediscover its beauty? The film follows biologist Prof. Dr. Michael Succow. In a political thriller, he and a small group of allies forge the largest nature conservation program in German history in 1990: 5 national parks, 6 biosphere reserves, and 3 nature parks are established. The film features people he has inspired and shows that nature conservation succeeds when many people take action.
