A story about a peaceful bull who is put to the test, loosely based on Munro Leaf’s story, for ages 5 and up, approx. 50 min.
Somewhere in Spain lives a bull named Ferdinand. Unlike the other bulls, nothing can persuade him to fight; instead, he prefers to lie among the flowers under his favorite tree. Through an unfortunate twist of fate, he nevertheless ends up in the bullring, where his peaceful nature is put to the test. His friends help him escape from this situation. A play about
peacefulness, the desire to fight, and the consequences of both.
From July 6, 2026, to August 20, 2026, the “Mecklenburgische Kleinseenplatte Puppet Theater Weeks” will take place—the summer’s highlight for the whole family! The events are funded by the towns of Mirow, Wesenberg, Neustrelitz, and Rheinsberg, as well as the municipalities of Wustrow and Priepert, with a grant from the Mecklenburg Lake District.
