This event is part of the “1st Neubrandenburg Men’s Action Week.” Fathers and children learn to sew together. What exactly can a sewing machine do? How does it work—and how do you operate it? Together with the children, we’ll take the first steps: setting up the machine, threading it, guiding the fabric, and sewing the first stitches as well as a small project. The focus isn’t on a perfect result, but on trying things out together, doing it yourself, and discovering new things. To wrap things up, we’ll take a look at our first sewing project: a gym bag. Anyone who’s interested can sew it themselves, step by step, at a future session. Registration: textilwerkstatt@junge-kuenste.de / Info: www.junge-kuenste.de
