Fanny Hensel, née Mendelssohn Bartholdy, was one of the famous 19th century bathers at Germany's first seaside resort Heiligendamm. Throughout their lives, the two were connected above all through their love of music. A piano recital with works by Fanny, Felix and contemporaries as well as some letters from Felix (1824) and Fanny (1826), who both visited Bad Doberan and the seaside resort of Heiligendamm.
