Library night
On Saturday, October 11, the city library will open its doors at 5:30 pm for the long-awaited Library Night. The event will be officially opened at 6 p.m. by Mayor Thomas Beyer and the drama group from the district music school.
Afterwards, visitors can look forward to a colorful program that runs through the entire building - from the top floor to the first floor. Under the motto "Autumn Magic", the children's library invites you to explore: Here, young guests can learn exciting things about autumn, test their knowledge with games and experience a picture book movie.
Numerous partners are also helping to organize the evening: The Schabbell, the city archive, the PhanTECHNIKUM, the media workshop of the film office as well as two creative make-up artists enrich the program for young and old.
As always, the popular book swap is also set up. For adults, there will be a quiz with attractive book vouchers as prizes, which will be raffled off at the closing event in the courtyard. There, the Fantasia show group will also provide goosebumps with a rousing dance program by torchlight.
Food and drink will also be provided by the library association.
