An April Fool's joke in Lucas' family is the catalyst for a story in which Xi, a Chinese exchange student, also comes up with one. He puts his old underpants in a pizza box, swaps it for a box from the pizza delivery man's rattletrap car, Lucas' sister's boyfriend, and bang: Lukas and Xi are caught up in a mafia conspiracy over a pizza box full of money. Of course, after some initial eye-rolling, Lukas and Xi become a well-rehearsed team and, of course, the stupid policemen who are later on their trail munch on a donut during the break - in the obligatory outtakes at the end of the movie, the camera follows a floating donut.
