Fall Concert by the Young Accordion Quintet "Baltic Five"
The Accordion Quintet "Baltic Five," featuring young musicians (trained at the Wolgast-Anklam District Music School), will delight you in this concert with a varied program ranging from classical music by Léon Boëllmann to film scores and popular music by John Miles.
The ensemble consists of Tessa Wodrich (17), Leonas Vitus Grey (17), Maxi Weber (15), Emma Katharina Berndt (16), and Charlotte Lunow (16).
They have been music students at the Wolgast-Anklam District Music School for many years and are taught by Andrea Neye. Their shared love of the accordion and music ultimately brought them together in April 2025 to form our quintet. Since then, they have participated with great enthusiasm and success in national and international competitions, such as the International Accordion Days in Prague and the Malchow Church Prize. This year, they were also awarded second prize at the “Jugend musiziert” national competition in Regensburg.
They are currently preparing once again for the International Accordion Days in Prague as well as the “
” Accordion Music Prize in Ettlingen.
