You’d think the real pop icon was standing on stage. Falco was already a megastar in the mid-1980s and, with his designer suit, slicked-back hair, and dark sunglasses, styled himself into an unforgettable artistic persona. He was 40 when he died in a car accident in the Dominican Republic in 1998. But his music lives on to this day.
