FALCO - The Show

Following the success of “Falco – The Musical,” lead actor Alexander Kerbst is returning to the stage in collaboration with Marcel Weisheit. The show is an authentic concert performance featuring a band, singers, and dancers. Over the course of about 100 minutes, the audience will experience Falco’s greatest hits. These include “Der Kommissar,” “Rock Me Amadeus,” “Jeanny,” and many other classics. Between songs, the performers share anecdotes and stories about the life and career of this exceptional artist. In this way, “Falco” comes back to life for one evening.

The spotlight is on Alexander Kerbst, one of the best-known Falco impersonators. The press has been praising his performance for years. Falco, born Johann Hölzel on February 19, 1957, in Vienna, was one of the most influential German-speaking pop stars. With his mix of pop, rock, new wave, and spoken-word vocals, he created an unmistakable style. He achieved his breakthrough with “Der Kommissar.” This was followed by global hits such as “Rock Me Amadeus, ” “Jeanny, ” “Vienna Calling, ” “The Sound of Music,” and “Out of the Dark.” With “Rock Me Amadeus,” Falco became the first—and, to this day, the only—artist to reach No. 1 on the U.S. Billboard charts with a German-language song.
