It's actually just a formality: the general meeting of a tennis club somewhere in the German provinces is to vote on the purchase of a new barbecue for the next club party. Normally not a problem - if it weren't for the proposal to finance a barbecue for the club's only Turkish member. After all, devout Muslims are not allowed to put their barbecue sausages on a grill with pork. A well-intentioned idea that causes atheists and believers, Germans and Turks, do-gooders and hardliners to clash head-on - disrespectful and incredibly funny. It soon becomes clear to everyone that there is much more at stake than just a barbecue...
