Light and shadow not only shape our lives, but also the history of the Barth Bible Center. In this special experience tour, we invite you to discover the house, its exhibitions and its spiritual depth from a new perspective.
On an atmospheric tour through the Bible Center, we encounter the bright moments as well as the darker sides of history. Newly arranged exhibits in the display cases in the corridor tell of hope, new beginnings and inspiration - but also of ruptures, questions and ambivalence. Light appears not only as a symbol of good, but also in its challenging, sometimes merciless side.
A particular highlight of the tour is the St. Jürgen Chapel with its impressive cross of light by artist Ludger Hinse. Depending on the time of day and the incidence of light, the cross unfolds its changing nuances of color and allows the room to be experienced anew again and again - in the spirit of the biblical words: "Let there be light!"
Let yourself be touched by special moments of light, by soft shadows and by the question of what light means for us today.
We look forward to your visit to the Barth Bible Center - enter into a play of light and shadow.
