Concert of contemporary music from Mecklenburg-Vorpommern for the opening of the exhibition "k_l_a_n_g Bilder" in the St. Marienkirche Ribnitz.
The concert "NOT JUST BACH" opens the exhibition "k_l_a_n_g Bilder" by Henry Günther at St. Mary's Church in Ribnitz. The concert will focus on contemporary music from Mecklenburg-Vorpommern based around the sonata for solo violin in A minor by Johann Sebastian Bach.
Works by Julia Deppert-Lang, Benjamin Lang, Peter Manfred Wolf, Birger Petersen and Malte Hübner will be performed by members of the Verein für Neue Musik Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
A book premiere will also take place as part of the exhibition opening. The world premiere of the composition "laute der violine / b_a_c_h. ein klang" by Malte Hübner (violin) to a poem by Henry Günther will be a special highlight.
The exhibition "k_l_a_n_g Bilder" with artists' books, works on paper and paintings can then be seen from June 21 to July 25, 2026 in the St. Marienkirche Ribnitz.
