Internationally acclaimed star of the comic scene: Anke Feuchtenberger shows exhibition
Anke Feuchtenberger is an internationally acclaimed artist whose graphic novels have revolutionized storytelling in comic format - celebrated in Paris, Ravenna, Helsinki, Kyoto and at the Leipzig Book Fair.
The guided tour of the exhibition takes visitors on a journey into childhood memories from the GDR - between autobiographical truth and artistic invention. On display are originals from the award-winning graphic novel "Genossin Kuckuck", drawings from the project "Die Hure H", early posters from the reunification period and colorful screen prints. In haunting drawings in charcoal and pencil, magical and disturbing visual worlds full of mystery and beauty open up.
