Hans Behrbohm - Painting and graphics Thomas Jastram - Sculpture

Born in Berlin in 1955, the physician, author and painter received his artistic training at the Weißensee Art Academy and is a student of the painter Prof. Friedrich Porsdorf. His long-standing, deeply connected love for Fischland and the Darß is reflected in his sensual, colorful acrylic paintings created on location and sensitive graphic sheets on the themes of the sea and the Nordic landscape: captured time in passing and becoming.

Thomas Jastram, born in Rostock in 1959, studied at the Dresden Academy of Fine Arts, where he was a master student, and now lives and works in Hamburg. In addition to large sculptures for public spaces, the multi-award-winning sculptor devotes himself primarily to small sculptures and portraits, whereby the central theme of all his works - alongside animal sculptures - is the human figure, complemented by sculptural drawings. His compositions - mostly bronzes - are expansive archetypes, an abstraction reminiscent of reality.
