The amorphous as a universal and timeless form
I start from the concept of the amorphous - understood as the organic, imperfect and disformal - to express my intention to break with traditional structures. I strive to move away from the recognizable objects that surround us to create forms that, in their strangeness, connect to our essence as mutable beings.
My aim is that these works detach themselves from geographical and temporal references; that they represent an alterity capable of evoking any being depending on the viewer's perception. These sculptures analyze, question and reinterpret the relationship between form and space. My artistic research distinguishes the interpretative process that occurs when form inhabits a particular environment and how our reality ultimately gives it meaning.
