The Stralsund City Library and the Local Alliance for Families of the Hanseatic City of Stralsund cordially invite you to an information round on the topic of "Child development in the first year of life" as part of the Bibolinchen parents' meeting.
This event gives parents a comprehensive insight into the various areas of their child's development in the first year of life, from motor skills to communication and personality development. Physiotherapist Irina Stel will clearly explain how motor development takes place and how parents can specifically encourage and support their child during this important phase.
In addition, aspects such as inner motivation, curiosity and the child's natural urge to explore are discussed, as well as getting to know new impressions, first forms of communication and the development of their own personality.
The event is aimed in particular at mothers and fathers with children in their first year of life who want to understand their child better and support them in their development in the best possible way.
It will take place on 24.04.2026 at 10:15 a.m. in the Stralsund City Library and is free of charge. Parents on parental leave are invited together with their children.
The Bibolinchen parents' meeting is an informal and cozy meeting place that offers the opportunity to exchange ideas on topics related to family and parenthood every two weeks. Mothers, fathers, children and siblings are all welcome. On-site activities for children, baby carriage parking and a changing table are available. Coffee and hot chocolate are also available in the reading café. Bibolinchen is a joint project of the Stralsund City Library and the Local Alliance for Families of the Hanseatic City of Stralsund.
