Duo Ossenkopp

Musik ut'n Norden, Low German songs and entertainment with wit and charm.

Finally "Land in sight", sing Dietmar Schmidt and Martin Korn from the "Duo Ossenkopp" when they return home after their concerts. The two are popular and have been working hard as a duo since 1992 to ensure that the Low German language is not forgotten. Dietmar Schmidt, a native of the beautiful Island of Usedom, and Martin Korn, a native of Wismar, also live the connection between Pomerania and Mecklenburg on stage, or the other way around. They cultivate old Low German songs and naturally also use many of their own texts for their programs. They talk about their childhood, about the "Grotmudder", where they had Tollatsch and Klüddersupp, and make some entertaining "sayings" that make us smile.
