In the city’s 150th anniversary year, “Herzog Meets Jungspund – Baroque Meets Techno” promises visitors a new and extraordinary event experience. On September 19, 2026, starting at 4 p.m., the historic Orangery will be transformed into a unique setting where Baroque flair meets modern electronic music.
Whether in period costume or modern attire—everyone is invited to celebrate, dance, and create special memories together. Those who want to immerse themselves in the Baroque world can rent a suitable costume on site, take atmospheric souvenir photos, and enjoy the special atmosphere. DJs Zottel, Tom Schlesi, and other DJs will provide the perfect soundtrack with Goa, electro, and house music.
The event is aimed at all generations and creatively bridges the gap between history and the present—fitting for the anniversary year of the city of Ludwigslust. “Herzog trifft Jungspund” is organized by the Förderverein Schloss Ludwigslust e. V. in cooperation with Braumanufaktur Ludwigslust GmbH & Co. KG. Admission is 5 euros. Visitors can look forward to an extraordinary event that combines Baroque elegance with modern club culture and showcases the many ways to celebrate the city’s history.
