On Sunday, May 31, 2026, from 10:00 to 16:00, the DRK Rügen-Stralsund district association invites you to the Family Day at the Tilzower Weg 36 site in Bergen auf Rügen. Visitors can expect a varied program with many opportunities to participate, discover and get to know each other.
Children can look after their cuddly toys in the teddy hospital, do handicrafts, have their faces painted or play on the bouncy castle. A children's flea market with toys and clothes invites you to browse. Entertainment will be provided by "MAX macht's". Coffee and cake from the DRK local association in Bergen as well as specialties from the grill round off the offer.
At the same time, guests can gain an insight into the work of the German Red Cross. Volunteers and employees will provide information about their tasks and show ways to get involved. A special item on the program is a realistic emergency presentation by the rescue service and the Red Cross Youth, in which the procedures of an operation are vividly presented.
In addition, there are health offers with blood pressure, blood sugar and body fat measurements. A wheelchair and rollator course invites visitors to try things out. First-aid kits can also be checked on site and replaced if necessary. In the job café, specialists will provide information about training, careers and voluntary work at the DRK.
