Concert with the Kairos Quartet
In its Bachwochen debut, the internationally renowned Kairos Quartet explores music that creates an inspiring resonance chamber. Sounds linger here, lose themselves and glide out into the inaudible. From György Kurtág (born 1926) and Georg F. Haas, references to the music of Johann Sebastian Bach can be heard: through the world premieres of the two miniatures by Larisa Vrhunc, for which she transfers Bach into our time, and through the "Sonatina" from Bach's Actus tragicus.
