Book launch as part of the 1st international literature festival graal-müritz
Denis Scheck and Eva Gritzmann have unearthed a culinary gem: The forgotten cookbook from Kafka's sanatorium - with recipes such as "Rotrüben- und Rapünzchensalat", which already inspired Thomas Mann and Rilke. In Graal-Müritz, they show how this work of vegetarian cuisine not only shaped Kafka's eating habits, but also influenced his literary work.
