The exhibition tells of courage, creativity and change and shows how art and design can make democracy visible and open up new perspectives.
From August 27 to September 22, 2026, the exhibition "DEMOGRAZIE - Designing Democracy" will be on display at the Ribnitz Library.
It focuses on the question of how democracy can be made visible through art and design. An initial impulse developed into an international project in which creative people from many countries took part. The exhibition makes it possible to experience how images, ideas and artistic perspectives can stimulate reflection and build bridges between people, living environments and social issues.
"DEMOGRAZY - Designing Democracy" is an exhibition about courage, creativity and change and invites us to view democracy not only as a political order, but also as a shared social task.
An event organized by the Ribnitz-Damgarten City Library in cooperation with Thinkup-Editions, with the kind support of the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern State Center for Political Education.
