On March 14 and 15, 2026, Inge Kaliska's "lütt Stuv" in Barth will open its doors for Open Pottery Day. From 10 am to 6 pm, you can discover illustrated ceramics, browse, marvel and talk to the artist. With coffee and cookies, the cozy "lütt Stuv" invites you to experience ceramics up close. Come by and be inspired!
Every second weekend in March, ceramic workshops across Germany open their doors. On the 21st Open Pottery Day, you can discover ceramics where they are made - in studios and workshops full of ideas, shapes and colors. This year, over 500 ceramists from all over Germany will be taking part.
A special address in Barth is also taking part again: Inge Kaliska's "lütt Stuv". On March 14 and 15, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., the small studio will open its doors to anyone who loves ceramics or is simply curious.
The lütt Stuv, Low German for "little room", is a studio, gallery and store all in one. Unique illustrated ceramic pieces are created here, designed with loving drawings, humorous motifs and personal details. Mugs, bowls, plates and vases become small works of art that combine everyday life and art.
During the weekend, you can browse through the studio, see ceramics up close and learn more about how the works are created. Of course, there will also be an opportunity to talk to the artist and ask questions.
Relaxed with coffee, cookies and ceramics, the lütt Stuv invites you to take a short creative break, discover new things and enjoy the special atmosphere of an open studio.
So: look, touch, marvel - and just drop by!
