Brösel, a struggling comic book artist, gets the chance of a lifetime. The adventures of his comic book character WERNER are to be made into a movie. Is this finally his big break? Appearances can be deceiving. The unscrupulous film producer sucks Brösel dry like a vampire and follows his every move. Plagued by wild nightmares, Brösel is so intimidated that he can’t come up with anything at all. And besides, he’d rather drink Bölkstoff anyway. Every time his ambition kicks in and he overcomes his apathy, fate plays a cruel trick on him and destroys his work.
