It’s really just a formality: The general meeting of a tennis club somewhere in the German countryside is set to vote on the purchase of a new grill for club parties as the final item on the agenda. Normally, this wouldn’t be a problem—were it not for the proposal to also fund a separate grill for the club’s only Turkish member. After all, as is well known, devout Muslims are not allowed to place their grilled sausages on a grill rack that has also been used for pork.
